Here are some high resolution scans of the fakes. I know you are thinking, oh no here MTG LION
goes again saying be brave and all that pride stuff. But this is a story about someone who
did far more than I did in stopping the counterfeits.
Let's call him this hopeful counterfeit buyer "X" (X actually posted on my youtube channel...
tempted to post a screenshot).
X does the following:
1. Posts on mtgsalvation about how good fakes are.
2. Encourage others to post on mtgsalvation about how good fakes are.
3. Calls Delson Racist Names
4. Tell Delson he will pay... only to not pay.
5. Alert MTG LION.
6. Post Delson's contact information all over the web (Delson's mom even found it)
7. Encourage others to annoy Delson with personal card list requests.
8. Encourage others to have insane expectations of fakes.
9. Encourage others to force insane expectations of fakes onto Delson.
10. Give MTG LION Source 1 to work with.
11. Give MTG LION Source 2 to work with.
12. Help MTG LION convince Source 1 to send MTG LION the cards.
13. Annoy Delson during Chinese New Years about fixing "corner problems."
14. Create land, modern, and legacy list and promise high resolution scans for use.
15. Not deliver high resolution scans.
16. Give WotC all the information it needed (via reports to wizards from X) to take the
matter seriously. Something MTG LION was incapable of.
17. Bring HELLFIRE onto Delson during Chinese New Years WHILE he is with his parents and
grandparents.
18. Call Delson's family Racist names.
To my friend, potential counterfeit buyer X (since you don't actually own the counterfeits).
I applaud you efforts.
Unfortunately... You drew the attention of a much bigger beast. Source 2 indicates there
is a big counterfeiter from Shanghai who wants to play. This dragon has distribution all
throughout the globe including every major city in the US. This dragon has realized how
profitable "a stupid american magic game" can be. And oh... this dragon have a nasty
track record with yugioh and pokemon. He dominated the counterfeits in those two card games for
years before deciding it was "not profitable enough of a venture for continued pursuit."
I hate dragon meat... so I will leave this beast to WotC.
