What is that awful smell?
(Sadly) My hair....
Why does your hair smell like that?
Because I basically made it a BLT.
You what?
I was looking for home remedies earlier to help my hair get shinier and more moisturized.
I found this blog that said putting blended tomato and letting it sit would do the trick.
That doesn't smell like tomato...
Right, that's because that one didn't work. I found that out later on another blog that
said the tomato was a myth and mayonnaise was the key.
You mayonnaised your hair?
Yup, I spread it all over like my head was a piece of bread. Then, it said if you can't
stand the smell, to tie a plastic bag around it and that would help.
Did it?
Well, it helped with the smell but really just let it get deep into my hair and now
I smell like rotting mayo.
I see that. Well did it work for your hair.
Maybe? I'm really not sure. I think it is a little shinier but I need more moisture
for sure.
Why don't you try natural oils? There are three different ones that you can try for
different hair types and they all give extra moisture and shine.
Seriously? Where were you when I decided to make myself a human sandwich?
I didn't think people did that stuff anymore! I remember my mom telling me about how her
and her sister did the mayo thing and absolutely stunk for weeks!
Not. Helping.
Sorry, we will get the smell out. Don't worry!
Ugh... so what oils are there?
Well, you can choose between avocado oil, olive oil, or coconut oil. All of them are
going to do wonders for your hair.
That all sounds like they will smell so much better than hot sticky mayonnaise.
What?
I can't stop thinking about a Becky BLT! Ha ha!
