Hi my name is Virgil Black and I am here at Ramp Riders Skate Park, on behalf of Expert
Village. In this clip I'm going to explain the, finding a nice size obstacle. Once again
we are at the same ledge we were with for the Feeble Grind and it will work for basically
the same thing for a Smith. You know you don't want to go too big too soon because you definitely
want to make sure that your hop is going to be solid enough to get onto this ledge and
to make sure that you are going to be safe in order to grind this thing without hurting
yourself. You want to make sure that the pedals are level, it's a very important part of these
tricks, to make sure you keep your pedals level otherwise it will be a really awkward
balance when you get on to any of these tricks. There's two different ways of doing this trick,
you can do it down an incline, which this is actually a slight slant, it's really not
too intense of a slant to it, but definitely a good practice area would be a nice flat
ledge. You can definitely find one high enough to get your pegs on without your tires catching
the ground. This is nice and perfect for that. As you can see nice coatings, it's going to
be a nice smooth slide. It's not going to stick on you when you are grinding.
