Hi, I'm Lynne Lincoln on behalf of expertvillage.com. Now we're going to actually start dying our
eggs. First I'm going to show you how to just dye your egg just one color. If you want just
a solid color egg and maybe you want to do some decorations on it afterwards, just drop
the whole egg gently into one of these cups and let it set there for a little bit. It
depends on how light or dark you want it and how long you want it to set. We're also going
to do a dual color egg. For this one you have to put it on this little holder, hold in halfway.
If you hold it in there for a few seconds you'll start to see the affect, the egg will
be half and half two colors. After you let your egg sit halfway in the dye for a few
seconds or even a few minutes, depending on how dark you want it to get. The longer you
leave it in the darker it's going to be. You're going to take your egg out and flip it over,
let it dry in your egg carton. After your half is dried you're going to dip the other
side into the orange like I've done here. Hold it in there as long as you want, as long
as you think it should be held and it's going to end up looking something like this. This
is a two color egg.
