>> Beffie Morse: Thirty-eight years ago
I, myself, was a client of a program assistant.
She used to visit my house.
I learned so much from what she gave to me and
what she showed to me.
There was an opening that came up in the Extension office.
She told me, she said “There’s a job opening.”
She said “You can do this.”
In my 35 years of being with the Extension Service,
it has helped me to grow in so many different ways.
I had a dream of opening up a restaurant.
And I did.
Everything that I knew just fell right in place.
I owe it all to the Extension Service.
I took the ServSafe test and then I had taken
the food handling program.
So, I knew a lot of things that I needed to know
before I even went in there.
