Hello, welcome to MAXreportage for the ALFA 4C first test drive
the heiress of 1967 ALFA 33 Stradale
a uncompomising car, very light, only 995 kg dried up
The front lights are not very beautiful but very light with the carbon fiber option
that model has got 18 and 19-inch wheels. It's also an option
And here you an see the aluminium disc break bowl
the dashboard is minimalist to save weight
Seats are slim and you've got a carbon fiber body like a F1
Aluminium pedals are wonderful
we find again the DNA like in the MiTo and Giulietta
so you can adjust ESP, gaz response, and the gearbox with double clutch and manual mode
we've got 4 levels : all weather, normal, dynamic...
and if I push the button 5 secondes I go to Race Mode
the air conditioner and the radio are free options
here you've got some storages and a little place for your papers
here a very short trunk and no fresh food cause the engine is close
it's a 1750 cm3 4 cylinders turbo engine that deliver 240 ps
I love the keychain but we have to start engine now
here we are on the Alfa romeo private test track in Balocco
We have no power steering !
we have a perfect feeling of the road...it's pure
6500 rpm maximum...it's low for an italian engine but you've got a very big torque
so it's hot when you accelerate because the rear is moving quickly.
It's fun with the race mode because the gearbox give some shocks
brakes are perfect
the brakes are strong and tough like on a race car
the steering is very natural and in short corners you don't have to move your hands.
let's go for the parabolic virage
The Tires have lot of grip...we are at 200 km/h
It's very funny. Alfa finally offers us a radical propulsion
This is the Alfa Renaissance
A sensational car for less 60 000 €
a unique sport car with a past, a story, I love that !
