When I decided to my
education degree,
I had really great
recommendation
from this school. It has really good programs in education,
especially in bilingual education. That's my degree.
So, also, it's close to my house. I live in Rockwall.
So I can drive
dragged
from Rockwall because I have my family,
and married, and have kids, so I can come over to the school and go back to my house in the same day.
I am a transfer student.
I just started at Texas A&M last fall
and when I had my orientation I found out that there is a lot of associations that you can
join. The one that I attracts my attention, obviously, it was the Hispanic Outreach.
Professor Hervas' class was really important for me.
It was a Spanish class
for heritage students.
I learned that it was really important how a bilingual teacher
works with kids with
grammar rules in both languages. In English and Spanish they already have the
foundation for those languages
and when they grow up, they have
a really good language
basis in English and Spanish.
