Danielle (student): Well, BBC is pretty much open every weekend and several Wednesdays throughout a semester.
We basically, OSU at least, hosts comedy nights and concerts that are free to students…
if you have your ID.
Greg (student): Inside is actually really cool, it’s all black,
so the lighting effect’s really good. The sound is also really good as well,
so once it gets going, there's usually on average 50 to maybe up to 100 people inside.
and that doesn’t even include the outside patio, which sometimes has up to 40 people.
Danielle: I know it’s definitely growing each time we have a comedy night or a concert, it just seems to keep growing.
Joanna: …like if they had concerts…
Constantine: …like when they had the rave thing going on there , I dunno, it was fun…
and then when they had…yeah…well, they have good bands coming through,
yeah, I’ll go and check it out. Yeah.
Valerie: It certainly isn’t empty, but I just wish that there would be more people there, you know?
People should take advantage of that, especially because it’s free for students, so why not?
Anthony: At the beginning of the semester, there was a party every weekend or something like that…
just do different stuff, you know,
and from what I remember it used to be more of a hangout place,
so now it’s closed off to that, so maybe if it went back to being a hangout place, then more people would go there.
Patrick: If they could have…a dj play…*** club music…
from, like, every Friday if they wanted to, but they don’t.
Constantine: And I feel like, if they had the bar there, it would make it more of like, uh,
like kinda like an adult-type theme, and….if they had like…I dunno…
If they had it open it would be really cool. It would draw a lot of attention to it.
Patrick: Dude, I mean, it’s right there, It’s a really easy place to have…fun, and…
dance if you want to and…dance to your pop tunes
and your pop Britney Spears, I don’t, you know…
Greg: There isn’t a lot of marketing for it, except for maybe on Facebook,
which is the only place you’ll ever see anything;
there isn’t anything on campus any fliers or anything.
Patrick: End of story: Somebody needs to organize that *** better.
