Every time you open your GoPro housing, it's exposed to some amount of humidity, all depending
on the humidity of your environment at the time. This can also happen if you open the
housing while it's still wet, potentially having some stray moisture make its way inside.
Following these two simple tips should get rid of all or at least most of your fogging
issues.
You will need your GoPro housing, Rain-X Interior Glass Anti-Fog, a clean cotton microfiber
towel and GoPro Anti-Fog Inserts.
Put a few drops of the Rain-X Anti-Fog onto the towel, and wipe it onto the inside of
the lens, making sure to get into the corners and hard to reach areas.
Then take a dry part of the towel, and wipe it dry completely.
The Rain-X Anti-Fog will prevent any condensation from forming on the inside of the lens, but
you still might have some moisture inside the housing - which is never a good thing.
This is where GoPro Anti-Fog Inserts come into play. Place an insert on each of four
sides of the camera and you're good to go.
