Let's see the supplies we're going to need to make our Velcro dartboard. We're going
to need a cardboard box or any type of hard, flat surface that we can cut around and make
for the back of the dartboard. This is where the cloth is going to sit, and we're going
to cover it with the first layer of cloth and then put the additional layers of cloth
on top. And this is going to be the actual dartboard. If we're going to be cutting it
to the shape that we want, it's easier to use some type of cardboard carton, anything
to that nature. We're going to need some pieces of felt. There will be felt that we're going
to need to cover the dartboard. Each ring on the dartboard is going to be in a different
color, just to make it look nice. So we're going to need some different colors of felt.
We're also going to need some type of all purpose glue. I'm using a rubber cement type
of glue, which works really well. We're going to need scissors, and also a marker and a
pencil just for making our outline when we cut the felt, and also on the cardboard. We're
going to need some Styrofoam balls that are four centimeters in diameter. And that would
mean about an inch and three quarters in diameter, or if you're going all the way around it would
be around three and a half inches. And we're also going to use some masking tape. We're
going to need a strip of Velcro, but not the felt side of the Velcro, but rather the sticky
side of the Velcro. That's going to be used to cover the ball that it will be able to
stick to the dartboard. We're going to be using some ribbon that will be used to hang
the dartboard. And we'll also need three sizes of a circular shape to cut our felt and to
cover the dartboard, so we're going to use a glass, a bowl, and a small plate, each having
a different circumference that will give us a different size of the felt. And these are
the supplies that we're going to use today to make our Velcro dartboard.
