Hey, if you're into cute of all kinds, this is the place to be. You are so adorable. So,
this be one of your's here, Emily? Yes. Can we get him out? Yeah. I assume it's a he?
Yes. Oh yeah, what's his name? His name is George. George, I like that. Hey, George.
So, he's a Himalayan, right? Yes. Now, what you recommend this rabbit breed as one for
young kids to start with? Yeah, definitely. These are a lot more calmer, and you can pick
them up and play with them and stuff. Yeah. And they don't get crazy. Yeah. And has this
guy been through the judging yet? Yes, he was just a second ago. Oh, really? Okay. How'd
he do? He got 1st. 1st, well congratulations. Thank you. Yeah, that's excellent. Hey, George,
you got a blue ribbon. Hey, big boy. I love their pink eyes. Yeah. They're almost like
pink with a little bit of violet in there too. Yeah. So, with George getting a blue
ribbon, what are some of the characteristics that you think the judge saw about this particular
rabbit that gave him a blue ribbon? In this one they look for them–they're actually
supposed to see if they can fit in a Pringles can. In this breed. Really? Yeah. So, they're
a really long, narrow rabbit when they stretch out? Yes. Through a Pringles can? Yeah. And
then they look for the boots. They call these the boots. And they see how high they are.
Right, right. That's fun. Actually, I saw earlier in the show, one the ladies who works
here as judge actually had an apron on and had some Himalayans in the apron. They were
just like laid back, so easy going. It was really hilarious. Pocket bunnies, or pocket
pets she was calling them. Yeah. That's great. So they have to have a really long conformation.
And the boot color has to be right. Yep. And what about ear length? These, actually, they
don't go on the length. Some of them, like the Mini-Rex's, they can't have it passed
their nose. So the color, the color shouldn't be passed their nose. Yeah, they like it to
kinda go like that. Right. George, you did so well. We're so proud of you, George. Thanks
for sharing him with us. You're welcome. Yeah, great talkin' to you, Emily. Good work, keep
it up. Thank you. As you can see, there's a lot hopping on Farm Raised. Check-in regularly,
and make sure you subscribe to eHow Pets. Hey, big guy.
