Hi everyone, it's Dimitri here again. Today's my second day of the 21 day water fast and
I'm just going to make this quick video to give you an update.
I left the house today at 8am and now it's almost 1am, so I've been out, on my feet,
travelling for quite a while now so it's been a very long day, very tiring, and today I
feel like my energy's been completely drained out of me. I feel like Superman with Kryptonite.
I'm just barely able to move and do anything productive. I feel very fatigued. I'm fine,
I don't feel very sleepy but I just feel like I've been on a long run, and my body's just
wants to lie down, it wants to take a rest, which is really what I should've been doing,
but it couldn't be avoided - I had to go to work.
Erm, there's not much to say apart from that...
I drank very little water today - maybe about 5 glasses, and yesterday I didn't drink much
either, so these past 2 days have almost been like a dry fast. This afternoon I went to
the park to try and get my energy back up a few notches. I went outside to the park
and took some deep diaphragmic breathes: inhaling as much as I could, exhaling as much as I
could, and holding my breath. I repeated that a few times for about 15-20 minutes. That
seemed to do the trick for about... I don't know... for 2 or 3 hours I felt like I had
a bit more energy and could do a bit more.
That worked and after that my energy gradually disappeared again. Now I'm here, really looking
forward to getting some sleep, taking a rest, and waking up tomorrow with a bit more energy.
I know the first 3 days are the hardest so I'm not too bothered about all this tiredness
business. I know it's just part of the process, part of the detox and I know my body's just
dumping toxins into my blood and trying to get rid of it. I know I promised also I'll
talk about a few points on this video today, but I'm going to leave that for tomorrow or
day after tomorrow because all I can think about right now is my bed - nothing more.
So that's all for today. Right now I'm going to take a quick shower and sleep...
Yeah, that's it. Thanks for tuning in. See you again tomorrow. Bye.
