Nearby, you'll find The Muséum national d'histoire naturelle
This museum of natural history has a lot to see including
the Gallery of Evolution and the Gallery of Mineralogy
The Gallery of Mineralogy displays a collection of crystals,
gemstones,and minerals, some of which are amongst the best
in the world.
The Grande Mosquée de Paris is a must see while in Paris.
Open in 1926, this amazing mosque is a place today where
you can go to pray, worship or even have tea and couscous.
The Manufacture des Gobelins was founded
by Jean Gobelin around 1440
This royal tapestry factory came into its golden age
under the reign of Henri IV in 1601 where it provided furnishings
for the chateau de Versailles.
On the charming rue des Gobelins you'll find the
the château de la Reine Blanche dating back to 1480.
The origin of its name remains a mystery and the chateau
today is made up of residential private luxury apartments
Though private, this chateau is opened for tours
during the summer season.
