Hey, guys, how's it going?
Talk about the Blue Grass for us, please?
The Conj. Blue Grass Portoalegrense has Heine Wentz
who plays the violin. I'm Marcio Petracco.
I play the mandolin.
Ricardo Sabadini plays the guitar.
José Baronio plays the contrabass.
And how long have you been playing on the streets?
I've lost count.
But the group is more than five years old.
Right?
2007?
Yeah. Five years.
Yeah, it's only five years with this team.
Where did you get inspiration for playing
blue grass on the streets of Porto Alegre?
I already had an experience playing on the streets.
Heine here did the same.
We had a blue grass group before the current band.
I also used to play on the streets in Porto Alegre.
Extinto Trem 27.
And then we thought that sound was cool
and it's something missing at the bars
People drink some bear and then there's
still some money for the musician included.
And it's almost nothing.
And man... Let's...
So there are lots of reasons that leads us to it.
That's one of them. We play music direct public.
And another is the occupation of the public space.
that we think is essential.
People want to lock themselves in condos,
malls and the streets get abandoned.
It gets dangerous to walk on the streets.
When we're outside, the streets gets safer.
It's our space for right.
That's it. We're not playing at the mall,
We're not playing at the bars.
Let's occupy the public space.
