Hi. My name is Jonathan Wilson on behalf of Expert Village.com. We're learning thirty
must-have blues piano licks and we're up to lick number twenty-four in our hard series.
This one has more notes than any other lick in the series and there is a lot of notes
here. This one is busy. It might be too busy. But, every once in a while, you need one like
this that just has a lot of notes in it. Here it is slowly, over the metronome and with
the notation.
Alright. So there it was in all of its note-y glory. It's a good one. It's kind of a cool
little lick. You just sort of fumble around all over those notes and finds its way down
to the end. Work on it with the metronome, increase your speed. There isn't really too
much in terms of technique. It's standard blues scale stuff. Work on your turns and
your grace notes and then just kind of work on increasing your speed. Here it is at full
speed, full chorus, over the band. Alright, that was lick number twenty-four, also known
as the lick of too many notes. Alright, come back next time for lick number twenty-five.
