Today, Jaystepher's going to show you how to make a cool
office desk complete with a swivel chair.
Let's start building the office chair.
I'm going to use a 2 by 2 swivel plate
and I'm going to take a 2 by 2 rounded plate, we're just going to place it on top.
Take a pre-molded chair,
Take a pre-molded chair,
I'm going to use a brown,
and a 1 by 1 stud.
I'm just going to drop it on the bottom here in the middle,
and then finally we're just going to assemble the chair.
There we go.
Now we're ready to build the base of our office desk.
Take two of these 2 by 3 plates
and one 1 by 6 brick,
place it as shown
place it as shown
so this will be the beginnings of our base, and take a 1 by 1 and place it in this corner here.
Use two 1 by 2 bricks,
we'll just place them along here.
we'll just place them along here.
Now a 1 by 3, we'll just place that here in the middle here.
Two of these 2 by 2 bricks, just place them on top there.
Now my desk is not complete without drawers.
So let's take a 1 by 2 jumper
and some eyelet pieces,
place two of them side-by-side
so we have something for a drawer.
so we have something for a drawer.
We're going to this four times.
so the same procedure.
And our last drawer.
Now simply just take two of these,
we're just stick them one on top of the other.
And finally, we're gong to stick some golden studs on here for handles.
And finally, we're gong to stick some golden studs on here for handles.
And finally, we're gong to stick some golden studs on here for handles.
And simply drop these in place here.
And simply drop these in place here.
There's our drawers.
Now we're ready for the top of our desk.
Just going to use a 4 by 8 plate, and I'm just going to start tiling it in.
I'm going to take some 1 by 6 smooths,
put four in the middle here.
And two 1 by 4s, I'm just going to place those along the edge there.
And two 1 by 4s, I'm just going to place those along the edge there.
We got a nice smooth table top.
Now you're probably wondering why this thing is seven studs and my top is eight.
We're just going to set the top
inside these slots here.
inside these slots here.
Just drop the top of the desk down
where we have a half a brick reveal, like a hangover.
where we have a half a brick reveal, like a hangover.
where we have a half a brick reveal, like a hangover.
And there's the desk.
See I got that nice lip around the edge there.
See I got that nice lip around the edge there.
Simply slip a chair in there. It's completely mini-fig friendly.
Let's take our mini-fig,
and you can easily
and you can easily,
if I can raise his hands high enough,
fit inside the desk.
It's like he's the boss.
So that is the tutorial for the office desk.
