Hi, I'm Sims, Healthways fitness coach. In Part Two of "Starting the New Year With
a Clean Slate" we're talking about tips for organizing your home.
Creating a more organized environment will help you think and act more clearly.
Now, everybody has a junk drawer. This is mine and honestly it's a little embarrassing.
But there's a simple solution. Invest in drawer dividers. That way all your miscellaneous
items have a home. Consider organizing your computer the same way.
All those pictures you have emailed from friends and family, you can create folders on your
computer to put them in. Things like, family trips, or grandkids. That way, just like with the drawer,
everything has a place.
Clutter boxes. Choose a room and take everything in that room that you consider clutter and
put it in a box. Over the next 6 months, you're only going to take out what you absolutely
need. Then, at the end of the 6 months, everything that's left in the box needs to be sold, donated
or trashed.
I hope you find this information useful. Share tips of your own on the Healthways FIT Facebook
page.
