>> SANDRA PATTERSON-RANDLES: Congratulations Indiana University Southeast class of 2011.
You are the largest graduating class in IU Southeast history. You have earned an Indiana
University degree. You have sacrificed and worked hard and today you should celebrate!
>> CRYSTAL EDWARDS: It feels great to be graduating so I can get a job and start my life.
>> MAEGAN REEVES: Yes, get a job. I want to continue school and, you know, get my master's.
>> JEANNIE EBERENZ: I actually am an employee of Louisville Metro Public Library so I'll
probably work for them a little bit, save up some money, and go to grad school.
>> CARLOS MITCHELL: I opened up a business coming, a basketball business, so that's going
great. Basically, reaching out to young men and women out there to try to get to this
point so they have somebody to look up to. Basically, start a career. Enjoy life.
>> JESSE RASMUSSEN: Actually, it's unbelievable that today has finally come. It seems like
yesterday I was starting my freshmen year.
>> EBERENZ: The thing I'll miss the most about IU Southeast is probably how nice everyone
is. Friendships, teachers.
>> MITCHELL: I'm going to miss the campus, campus life. I'm going to miss the teammates,
students, coaches, everybody that got me to this point.
>> RASMUSSEN: The way the campus is designed is it's very easy to build those relationships
that you're going to use throughout your career and through life. I'm never going to forget
the people that I've met.
>> VALERIE TOLES: These people. Friends, I'll miss the most, is having my cohort with me.
>> KERI SPRINKLE: The support. The support network.
>> PAKO MARTIN MUNOZ: With dedication, constant challenge, and unyielding faith, these parents,
mentors, professors, and friends have shaped our lives in so many ways. With perseverance
and courage, we have responded by attaining an IU degree.
>> PATTERSON-RANDLES: You, members of the class of 2011, are living proof that IU Southeast
is fulfilling its mission. For seven decades, IU Southeast has been focused on student success.
>> MUNOZ: We have achieved not only in the classroom, but throughout our community. We
will utilize the knowledge we have acquired at IU Southeast to improve the world we live in.
>> MICHAEL MCROBBIE: As graduates of Indiana University, you have been preparing for years
to become the next generation to discover, understand, and apply all that you have learned.
Class of 2011, imagine the horizon before you and, in your own lives, continue this
great adventure of creation, invention, and discovery.
>> MUNOZ: By doing so, I'm certain that the class of 2011 will continue to reach and inspire
people around the world as our fellow IU Southeast alumni have been doing for the last 70 years.
Congratulations class of 2011. The world is ours!
