We're all adults here, so can we just be honest and admit that when you willingly give a company
your time, attention and money, you're not "hijacking" ***?!
After multiple deafening Punk chants throughout the raw pre show and to start the show, Heyman
appears and blames the crowd and the Undertaker for Punk's quitting, then brings out Brock
Lesnar, who destroys Mark Henry, ringside and a fan in the crowd.
Smart move on WWE's part to diffuse the situation because if anyone knows a thing or two about
hostile crowd wrangling, it's Paul E Dangerously.
An awesome moment for The Usos as the win the tag team titles over the NAO, but the
immediate rematch announcement killed the moment for me. We don't get many championship
matches on Raw these days, let alone ones where the title changes hands, so this was
a successful ploy to distract the fans. But it couldn't have been more well deserved,
so congratulations to the Usos.
WWE continued their no huddle offense on the fans with a Cesaro vs Big E rematch that once
again saw Swagger interfere, but the tables would turn later in the show when Cesaro DQ's
Swagger for revenge.
I could legit do an entire video on Shieldvs Wyatts2 which was just as big as their first
confrontation, especially with the wild Chicago crowd in play. Hard to tell if that was Seth
Rollins or Mario on a Super Star Power up bender, but left Ambrose hanging for the tag
for the swerve...just as....someone.... predicted he would..
Reigns and Ambrose are unable to stave off the vicious Wyatt family, as Bray hit Sister
Abigail for the win.
If you haven't seen this match yet, pause this video right now and watch it. That's
an order!
Sheamus over Christian was unfortunately victimized as the fans killed the match unnecessarily
with their incessant racket... I will admit that the match went on for way longer than
it should have but it hardly deserved the hate it received.
Daniel Bryan was brought out to take ownership of the #hijackraw vibe and called out The
Authority.
I'm far from sold on Dbry v Game at Mania, but it's hard for me to invest in it when
we've been conditioned to believe that no matter what DBry does, he will never, ever,
EVER, get his just do within this company. And I just... I don't even want to talk about
throwing him in the Mania Main event match with Batista and Orton.
Ziggler steals Del Rio's car gimmick and the win, while John Cena chuckles his way through
injury..
Bray isn't doing anything wrong, but Wyatts v Shield is SO MUCH BETTER, that it renders
the Cena program irrelevant.
Batista v Bryan has a no contest conclusion when The Animal served him to the Viper who
was at ringside. The Authority commenced the inevitable beating on The Bearded One, standing
tall as we fade to black.
Not sure if the main event was so booked so heavy to mask Batista's inability to hang
or to give Daniel Bryan a reason to have beef with the Mania main event players. Maybe a
little bit of both.
I'm just as tired as everyone else of seeing Bryan getting screwed over and over again,
but in THIS case, for THIS show, given everything that they were up against, it was very necessary
just as a reminder to the fans about who really calls the shots in the WWE.
