DIXON GILLETTE: All right, let's go over our Main User interface. Starting at the top left
here are our Reports tabs. You can access them by mouse-clicking over the icon or you
can push their respective function key. The first one is your Finance Report. By pushing
F1, it will bring you to the Finance Report, where you can get a good overview of how you
and your competitors are doing as far as revenues go. It will break it down by category. It
will also give you information about this year's profits, and it will give you previous
year's profits. It will also give you your total lifetime. The next report is our Competition
Report. By pushing F2 on the keyboard, it will bring you to a screen where you can buy
and sell the stock of your companies and your competitor's companies. You'll also get information
about the amount of cash that you and your competitors have, their net worth, their annual
profits, the amount of track that they own as far as miles of track go, the number of
trains they are running, and their current share price. Down here at the bottom left,
you'll also get a dynamic update as in a graphical representation of how you and your competitors
are doing as well. The next tab over is our victory screen. By pushing F3 on the keyboard,
it will bring you to your Victory Conditions Report where you can see what your objectives
are that you have to do in order to win this scenario. It will give you a check mark if
they are checked, and it will also tell you how much time you have left to complete those
victories. The next tab is your Train's Report. By pushing F4 on your keyboard, you will be
brought to a screen that you can get information about all the trains that you are currently
operating. You'll be able to see what type of cargo they're carrying, and you can tell
how old the train is here at the top. You can sort your trains by the amount of money
that they're making, how much maintenance money it is causing you or which train is
waiting the longest. Here you can also edit your route. You can destroy your train. You
can customize your trains' color and its paint and its logo, and you can also upgrade. By
pushing the View button, it will take you to the train, and you could see what it's
doing at that particular time. The next tab over is the Goods Report. By pushing F5 in
your keyboard, you will be able to get an overview of how well you and your competitors
are doing as far as current market share in that particular good. You can get a total
overview or you can break it down by category, and you can see here who is taking what percentage
of the goods. The next report is our Industries Report. By pushing F6 on your keyboard, it
will take you to a screen that will give you information about all the industries that
you currently own. It's going to tell what it does, what you purchased it for, its revenue,
its profit, its yearly revenue and its estimated years until it will be profitable. It will
tell you which type of industry either small, medium or large industry; and of course, the
view button will take you to that industry where you can get a look at the industry itself.
So, as you can see, it's in Yuma, and it took us right to Yuma. The last report is our Patent
Report. By pushing F7, it will take you to the patent screen. Now, as you could see,
no patents have become available yet. But when you do own a patent, it will show up
here and it will also tell you who owns it and how many years until public domain it
becomes.
