Well we've got the funny papers ready and we're going to wrap this box. The first thing
I want to do is I want to set the box in the center of the paper and just make sure that
I've got enough to reach the sides. That looks good. So I only need half of this, not the
whole thing. So in order to cut this so that it has, doesn't have like a weird fold, I'm
just going to snip the fold off of this paper. So here it is just folded as if it's in your,
your Sunday paper. I'm just going to cut the fold right off. Fold it in half so I don't
have to cut quite as much. I'm just going to snip this right off. VoilĂ . Take this
piece that we don't need and now we get to decide what we want, hmm, you know what? I
like this other side better so let's use it. Stick the box in the center of the funny papers.
It's really in the middle for us. That's perfect. And this is really flimsy. It doesn't really
hold like regular store bought wrapping paper so I'm going to give you permission right
now just to cheat and tape that there. Now see how this rough edge is just not very pretty?
We're going to take that and fold it over. That's better isn't it? And then a little
bit of tape. Now we'll just fold the sides the usual way. This is a very casual wrapping technique so
we're not going to get all nutty about everything being super nice. We're not going to grab
our bone folder and sharpen this all up. Just crease it with your fingers. And now this
is the open side. Going to fold that over. Then fold the other side up. And a little
bit of tape to hold it in place. This is going to look so cute. The open side up first again.
Whoops. This one's trying to get away from me. There we go. Stay. And just a little tiny
bit of tape. There we go. So now we're ready to add our accent.
