Our sledge run is the longest single run in Switzerland
and it is also the road which the Sprinters use.
The Sprinter replaces the cable cars.
It delivers material, food or beverages
and also transports our guests.
Our vehicles have a very difficult and demanding job.
The Sprinters often have to face
difficult or adverse conditions here.
Whether it is snow, rain or ice.
Overcoming these is a major challenge for the vehicles.
The Sprinter is a very comfortable vehicle
with a very good handling.
All-wheel drive is essential.
The reliability of the vehicles is the top priority
because the Sprinters replace our cable cars.
That is why it is enormously important for us
that the Sprinters are reliable.
We chose Mercedes-Benz because we have also tried out competing products.
However, we discovered that these vehicles had suffered serious damage after the very first run.
Up to the point where we would have been unable to act.
Our sledge run has a length of 12 km.
One travels an altitude of 900 m along these 12 km.
We have accommodation for 270 guests
and they eat and drink a lot.
We consume around 4.5 t of fondue cheese during the winter season.
Without the Sprinter we would be cut off from the outside world.
It keeps us supplied.
We would be lost without the Sprinter!
