Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we will be assembling our
frame. First we're going to need wood glue and a damped paper towel. We're also going
to need that sheet of glass, our picture frame sides and a band clamp. Now these are also
known as a belt clamp, a strap clamp or a picture frame clamp. First you'll need to
get everything in place and go ahead and place a little bit of glue on each of your miters.
Then we need to go ahead and slip our glass into our frame as we assemble it. Once we have our frame glued and assembled
we need to place that band clamp over our picture frame making sure these corners line
up and go ahead and tighten it down. As you tighten it these corners might shift just
a little bit so you want to make sure that you realign all of those. When you're satisfied
with the way that it's lined up, then go ahead and clamp it down the rest of the way. Double
check to make sure it's lined up how you want it. Next we need to clean up all of those
glue joints as best as we can. Once you've cleaned up all of that excess glue you can
go ahead and let this sit for 24 hours before we unclamp it.
