The estuary of the "Meshushim" river in the North of the Kinneret, also known as the "Zaki".
The name's origin is Arabic for clear water. Those who take the river's path will see the wild and breathtaking scenery that's passing through the water.
The slope in the region is moderate and the flow is very slow.
Parts of it include walking on slippery and hidden rocks, swimming in great lagoons...
What's that? -- The path is accompanied by
A rich plant flora... - Check out my pigeons!
Between the trees you may notice grey egrets..
And white egrets, kingfishers and many butterflies.
On the water's surface float many dragonflies and sweet turtles slide the slopes into the water.
The bottoms of the lagoons are covered with tin soil and basalt rocks. They use as an egg laying region for the Tilapia, who afterwards go out and fill the Kinneret.
From the parking area you can continue by foot in the red path about 1 KM, until the wet part of the trip begins.
The path ends near the water pumps located in the Eucalyptus grove, when you see the sign noticing you've reached the Tilapia's egg laying region.
Is that what we learned? -- In order to get back to the parking area, you must go on the dirt road that is parallel to the wet path.
Menash: What did Berlad eat today? Has he learned his lines already? -- He's finally asleep.
