Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! Today I'm just going to do a really quick, simple
makeup tutorial for Valentine's Day. It's a cat eye, with a pop of color, and I will
give you three lip options in case you want to try something more dramatic or if you want
to stay on the natural side.
So if you guys wanna see how I got this look, then definitely please keep watching. I'm
using brown script as always, and I'm just gonna work that into my crease in circular
motions. And I am focusing the color in the outer corner of my eye, and sort of blending
it in towards the center. Now that I have my transition color down, I am going to go
ahead and mattify my eyelids because I don't want them to look shiny. So, I am just going
to use a finishing powder with an angled shader brush, and that will mattify my lids without
making it look like there's anything on them.
Next I am going to add some extra definition to my crease, and for that I am going to use
Sable from my LORAC Pro Palette. What I do is I make a surprised face, just like this,
and that will pull my skin very taut so that I can see exactly where I want to place my
color. Right where my crease is, and this will just add a little bit of definition.
The next thing I am gong to so is apply my eyeliner, and I am going to do a cat shaped
eyeliner just because I feel like it's really sensual and romantic and it will give the
eyes a very feline appearance. I am going to use my Smashbox gel liner.
There's the first eye, just like that. So this depends on you, I like to draw sort of
a triangular shape in my inner eye to enhance the feline appearance that I am trying to
achieve. I just gently flick the line down from my inner eye towards my tearduct and
then connect the line to the inner corner of my lower lash line.
Next, I am going to take MAC'S Beauty Marked eyeshadow on a pencil brush. I am just going
to use that on my lower lash line to sort of smoke it out.
Then in my inner eye, I am going to apply a red pigment. This pigment is called "Flambe,"
it's by Jesse's Girl. While I wait for my lashes to dry, I am going to line my waterline
and also tightline. I am going to use the same eyeliner that I always use for this.
Ok, so I have my lashes on and I am waiting for those to dry. While I am waiting for those
to dry, I'm just going to show you my first lip option. This is a liquid lipstick and
I love these because they stay put and you don't have to fuss over them, but once you
put them on they will stay put. So you have to be really careful with the application.
So I am just gonna apply this liquid lipstick exactly how I want it to look. I am using
my limecrime velvetine, and it helps if you sort of make a smiley face so that you get
the color into all the folds of your lips.
My liquid lipstick has set, I am going to go in with this long wearing lipstick by Stila,
it's in this wine red color, and I am just going to use that as a lip liner. There's
the first lip option for you guys, for those who really like a red lip. I like it, it's
very matte and that's usually how I prefer to wear bold lip colors.
The next color I am going to use is this very daring, deep red color. It's almost like a
blackened red, and it's called "Black Cherry" by Revlon. It's a creme finish, and it's very
daring. If you are going to wear the Black Cherry, then I would deepen the blush a little
bit to keep from being washed out.
For dark colors like this, I use Fuschia Flash. It is a contour color by Sephora, and I apply
it with a duo fiber brush. And that's what the deep red looks like.
Ok guys, so last but not least, I am gonna show you my go to lipstick and it is probably
the color I would definitely go with if I were to wear this look in real life. This
is just a reddish brown color called "Taupe" by MAC, it's absolutely beautiful and it's
a matte color. The way I apply this is I don't apply it the way you would typically apply
lipstick, I sort of dab it on my lips like this. And that just gives me this sort of
orangey peachey nude wash of color on my lips.
I just love the way it looks, it's so sensual and it's a very matte finish that looks very
natural. So that's what I would do, and there's what that looks like.
Ok guys, that's the finished look! I hope you enjoyed it, I had so much fun with it.
Definitely try it out, it's very adaptable to a lot of different skin tones and I hope
you enjoyed the different lip options I showed you!
