Okay, now that we have one completed piece; its completely covered just like my example
piece right here. What I am going to show you how to do now is to add another row to
it whenever you still want to continue to use the same color. So what you want to do
with your loop on the needle from closing it is you are are going to wrap some yarn
around it and pull it through to make one chain. And you are going to do it again to
make two chains. Because what we are going to do to, is we are going to do another double
crochet just all around the edge to give is just a little bit more height. So now that
we have chained up two, what we are going to do is we are going to start our standard
double croquet pattern. So you are just going to go ahead and wrap some yarn around your
needle. And where you are going to what to go underneath is you will see these chains
that sit right on top of the edge. And you are going to want to go directly underneath
there. So with my two loops on my needle, you are going to go right underneath that
first chain and you are going to pull some yarn back through there. And you will see
that I got my three loops. Then pull through the first two and the second two. Now we did
our first double crochet. Now to do it again, wrap some yarn, and go directly underneath
that chain. Just go right through there and pull it through. And then do the first two
and do the second two. And all you are going to do is just continue you to do this all
the way around. Just remember to look for these chains and go directly underneath them.
And just keep doing your double crochet. And you will see we are adding some nice height
all the way around just to give it, a little bit more, just make a little bit more big
and a little bit more noticeable.
