Medal of Honor recipients laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
in Arlington National Cemetery in remembrance of all those who have served.
[male speaker] The tomb is a reminder that no member of the American Armed Forces,
wherever he or she serves, is ever truly forgotten. The tomb's association with the Medal of Honor
is a reminder that all who gave their last measure of devotion for their country
and their fellow comrades are true heroes. For you are always the first to humbly remind
us that you wear your medals in honor of and
sometimes on behalf of friends and comrades who were not able to be so honored,
many of whom, like those interred in this tomb,
gave their last measure of devotion to their country.
