there's a horrible something that happens and we're all just absolutely beside ourselves
and we lock down schools for the rest of the school year
and then within a year or two we're back to where we were before
nothing ever changes
this time i am very hopeful that at least something's going to change
but i mean how do you stop violence that's something that is being debated
one thing that i am kind of surprised at is that we're not looking at other countries
this is not the first country that this has happened to
there have been horrible school massacres if you will in other countries
australia especially england
and they took comprehensive sort of approaches to try to solve these problems
and for the most part they appear to have been very successful
we should be learning from them as oppose to just trying to craft this unique, american solution
i certainly believe in american exceptionalism as much as the next patriot
that said
there are other countries that have had to go through this pain
let's learn from their lessons
i think we may be able to solve this problem much more quickly if we do that
