Hello I'm Kerul Kassel on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment we're going to talk
about surrounding yourself with ongoing support. Again, don't think you have to do it by yourself.
A couple of segments ago we talked about partnering but partnering isn't the only means of getting
the support you need. I don't necessarily mean support groups, although if that's going
to help you accomplish your goals go for it. But there are other means of support besides
partnering. Various communities you can involve yourself in. If you want to write perhaps
you get involved with a writer's group. If you want to get fit then perhaps you involve
yourself with other people who are doing the kind of sport that interest you, or who have
some kind of regular meeting at the gym. It could be that there's some group that you
want to join, for instance some online community is a possibility, some people who are pursuing
the same kind of goal as you or who have the same kind of obstacle as you are experiencing
so that you can share resources for overcoming that obstacle. Also, delegate and automate.
Remember, don't try and do everything yourself. Whatever you can delegate to somebody else,
and you don't have to expect perfection, because perfection can get in your way, delegate,
automate. Enlist family, enlist friends in your support. Don't ask someone for support
who isn't going to support you, it will only have a bad effect, it will only help hinder
you from achieving your goal. Instead, ask people you know will be supportive, encouraging,
help hold you accountable and help you accomplish your goals.
