Hi guys, this is Abby. Today we are going to be making a triple-single bracelet. First
we are going to be placing the bands. I'm going to be doing rainbow, so my first color
will be red. Place it from this bottom peg up to the right peg. Use the same color, and
place it from the bottom peg to the one above it. And then again, from the bottom peg to
the one on the left. Then you are going to take your next color, and put it from this
peg to the one above it, from this peg to
the one above it, and from this peg to
the one above it. And you are going to continue this pattern up the loom. Your loom should
look like this. Now we're going to be placing top bands, or the connecting bands. You want
to take your band, Place it from these two pegs, do not place it on these bottom ones.
and from these two pegs to the one below it in a triangle shape. Take your next band,
go to the next two pegs, and do the same thing. Continue this triangle pattern all the way
up the loom to the top. On
the
last triangle band, you want to make what's called a cap band. You place your band around
one finger, twist it into a figure eight, put it back on your finger, stretch it out,
and place it like you would a normal band.Your loom should look like this. Now you flip the
loom over and go back to the bottom. Pick up your hook, go underneath the cap band,
and pick up the band on the left. Pull it up, and hook it onto the peg above it. You
want to reach underneath it, pull up the band, and doing the same thing, pull it onto the
peg above it. Continue doing this the whole way
up the loom. The loom should look like this. Then go back down to the bottom, go underneath the cap band,
pull up the band in the middle, and pull it up onto the peg above it. Do the same thing
you did before, and continue up the loom. Your loom should look like this. Now you go
back down to the bottom, grab the band on the right, pull it onto the peg above it,
and do the same thing you've done the last two times, continuing up the loom. All of
your band should be hooked, and your loom should look like this. Now you want to go
back up to the top, take your hook, and put it through all of the bands on this top peg.
Take one of your bands, put it on your hook, and pull it through. Make sure you don't catch
any extra bands on your hook on your way. Then hook the other end of the band onto your
hook. Now, take an s-clip, an attach it to the band on your hook. Make sure it is nice
and tight. And now pull your bracelet off of your loom. Make sure you keep the cap band
on your finger. Your bracelet should look like this. IF this is too small for your wrist,
we are going to do what is called a bracelet extension. Put the end band on your finger
and stretch it so all this space it in between. Take one of your bands, put it in the space,
grab both sides of it, and pull up. Put that end back on your finger. Continue doing this
until it is big enough to fit on your wrist. usually it only takes four or five bands.
When it is big enough to fir on your wrist, just take the other end, hold the s-clip up
and attach your bands together. And now you have a triple single bracelet.
