This is Defense Against the Dark Algebrarts: How To Reverse the Dark Lord's Spell
Using Inverses.
the Dark Lord is known for using two words, Avada Kedavra.
This dreaded killing spell can kill a man with in a second
but it can be reversed with a simple trickery
actually, any spell can be reversed with this simple trickery called inverses.
An inverse is an equation that undoes another function, or in this case, another spell.
Let's say that the equation
for Avada Kedavra
was represented by the equation, y equals thirteen x
plus six hundred and sixty-six divided by four.
To find the inverse, you would simply switch x and y and then solve for y.
So to solve for y, first you would multiply both sides by four
and then you would
end up with four x is thirteen y plus six six six.
Next you would subtract six six six from both sides
and you would end up with
four x minus six six six is equal to thirteen y.
Finally, you would divide both sides by thirteen
and you would end up with
y equals four x minus six six six over thirteen.
And there you have it! The new
equation to reverse Avada Kedavra, Arvadek Adava.
Now you try! Voldemort has just casted
Crucio on you. If the equation for Crucio is seventeen minus nine x over
three hundred and ninety-seven,
how do you reverse this
equation and save yourself?
So if you ended up with the equation,
y is three hundred and ninety-seven x minus seventeen over
negative nine
then you have
successfully saved yourself from Crucio.
And there you have it! Now you know how to use inverses to reverse spells and save yourself just
like Harry did
