Hi! This is Stacey from Expert Village. In this video clip, I will be talking about how
to use toys for ages 3 months and up. A good idea to use for a child ages 3 months and
up is a book. A book provides language development and visual development. It also allows the
child to sit and bond with you as a parent. Some ideas on how to use a book with a child
that age is to have them sit on your lap and put the book in front of them so they can
see it. Some great books are books that have fur on them so you can have their hands touch
them. Other ideas are just to name the animals. For example, in this book the flowers. You
could also say a cow says moo, a horse says nay. It's just to get them familiar with a
book and to look at pictures as well as hear words. Then you can go ahead and read the
story as well. This book provides many different textures. This duck you can talk about when
they feel it how it's soft. It's just for them to get to know the word and listen to
your voice and be comfortable with sitting with you and just continue reading to them.
