The open day was really great. They give us a lot of information...
and it's really nice friendly people there so they're supporting us, cause it's my first day of the University.
Because I visited other universities like I went to Salford and Manchester and other places, I didn't feel as I'd be safe there really...
I'm from Bolton College anyway so I feel more safe here and I thought Bolton University would be good for me.
Well my favourite part of the course is we learn a lot of practical, because you know deaf are more visual and they like practical work...
and we're joining with the group and the tutors and we have a lot of fun - that's what I like about the course.
Well the first thing you have to create your own ideas... do mind mapping, and journals and research books...
of the photography you want to look at, and we have to visit galleries and museums and choose different techniques.. .
and show what's good and bad about the lighting and the cameras and then you can obviously do your final project.
So the photography studios in Bolton University are really good. They can provide you everything...
and they've got a lot of things that you can use, a lot of equipment they provide...
they've got everything really, it really matters for your course so everything that you need is all there.
So it's really good. You you can have fun, you can book any time to do some work and things so I think it's really good.
So we don't just study and stick in and stay in the studio, we go out into the community, we go to visit museums..
and we go to Bradford, Manchester, Salford, Bolton. We do lots of things like that.
And we also go abroad and I've been to Berlin and to Toronto.
I've been using the careers service for like finding a job. They've just helped me to do my CV, like showing me how to improve and do really well.
And just teach me things about the job and the interview, to prepare, what to do next if you want the job.
I'd say I would recommend coming to the University of Bolton because there's lots of good support for deaf people..
and for hearing students as well. It's a very good university and it's got lots of resources.
