Can you give me some real reasons why you should stop shampooing your hair?
I didn’t think you were spending that much on hair care products.
I heard that stopping the shampoo improves my hair.
It is contradictory to wash out all the oils and then add it back with conditioners.
But you have to wash out dirt, debris and etcetera.
What are you doing that you are regularly getting leaves and twigs in your hair? While
it might be good to commune with nature, you might be getting too close.
I heard that shampooing my hair makes a lot of things worse.
If you have a perm, you have to use shampoos specifically for treated hair. Otherwise,
you’ll risk ruining your expensive hair styling.
My only concern is that if I stop shampooing my hair, it will end up being disgusting.
You can certainly rinse it with water regularly without the chemical stripping shampoo can
cause. You do have to stop adding conditioners if you aren’t using any shampoo.
I’d love to be able to simplify or even give up my hair care routine.
You can’t avoid brushing it even if you stop shampooing it.
I’ve heard of people brushing their hair with talc, essentially letting them avoid
using shampoo. It’s all natural.
So is the Black Death. It might be more natural, but that doesn’t mean it is good.
Some chemicals in shampoo can give you cancer.
Everything causes cancer in rats if you give them too much. Did you know that too much
water can kill you?
It’s called drowning. But skipping the shampoo lets you save water.
Only if you don’t spend extra time in the shower defoliating or washing your skin instead
of your hair.
Scalp oils are your hair’s natural conditioners.
That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t wash them out at least once in a while.
