ADDED THAT NEW WINDOW, AND THE COUNTERTOP WAS CHANGED,
THE KITCHEN RENOVATION IS STILL ON BUDGET.
IT LOOKS AMAZING, AND THE SPACE--
IT NEEDED IT, TOO.
SINCE CHRISTINE AND JOHN HAVE A LARGE FAMILY,
THEY NEED LOTS OF STORAGE.
JONATHAN ADDED CUPBOARDS WHERE A SMALL WINDOW HAD BEEN
AND INSTALLED AN EXTRA-WIDE PENINSULA.
AND IN THE END, YOU GUYS STUCK TO BUDGET,
WHICH I'M HAPPY ABOUT.
THE TOTAL COST FOR THIS RENO WAS $52,000.
CHANGES TO THE DESIGNS
PUT THEM SLIGHTLY OVER THEIR $700,000 TOTAL BUDGET,
BUT THE JOB FINISHED ON SCHEDULE
AND IN TIME FOR THE START OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.
WE HAD A MAKE A FEW CUTBACKS HERE AND THERE,
BUT IN THE END, I THINK WE STAYED VERY CLOSE
IT PAID OFF.
AND EVEN KEEPING UNDER THAT BUDGET,
YOU STILL GOT THE MODERN LUXURIES
OF ALL THE CABINETS AND DRAWERS IN HERE ARE SOFT-CLOSE.
WE EVEN YOU HAVE THAT TILE FEATURE THAT GOES ALL THE WAY UP
TO THE CEILING BEHIND THE WINDOW--
