I will be talking to chris Christie later on the show
but one thing that I do want to point out here in this is a victory that I
don't think we spend enough time talking about
arm in the media but I think we should
chris Christie arm a couple months ago a couple years ago which everyone output
it rejected a bill
they came out at the state level though to raise the minimum wage this became a
ballot issue
and in New Jersey in the minimum wage to set at the Federal
floor of 7.25 percent will now
be raised by a dollar and the state cuz you a limited to
automatically increase automatic increases tied to inflation now this is
how the minimum wage should be set up
in every state across the Union because we cannot depend on political will
to fixing the minimum wage and the poverty crisis in this country
we've got the book automatic triggers
in the law and as a new jersey did the people overwhelmingly voted for the
sixty percent almost forty percent
and they what they've done is they've raisin waste 8,000 25-cent
understand that every year the middle way to a Joss
to for inflation a lot
this is how business should be done because that means that political will
or changing the political party
doesn't change how people live
eaten brief I love it
it's it's great great great great great stuff
arm and I think you know this is this is a step in the right direction
are I think hopefully we'll see more pics that hopefully will get the
political will
in Washington to get it done
eighty percent of Americans favor increase the minimum wage to $10 dollars
and cents an hour
including a two-thirds of republicans and nearly eighty percent
up those that are well off but members of congress don't want to do it
but people new jersey did it shut out about
their way
on
Europe
