Hi I'm Veronica Baragas with mygigglesandwiggles.com, and I'm going to share with you how to keep
a breast feeding baby from biting. Now there's not too many things that you could really
do to help prevent it. One of the main things that you could probably show them is if they
do start to bite you the best thing to do is to remove your baby momentarily until they
can understand and get the concept that when you bite, you no longer get any milk. It's
going to be very painful for you of course, but try not to do any sudden movements or
hard jerks. I think just removing the baby shortly, and giving it a few minutes to kind
of think about, or maybe not really thing about but to just give it a few minutes to
realize what happens. Don't refuse your milk for too long, but try it again. And just try
to stay consistent with once they bite you to remove the baby from your ***. So I
think there is only a few ways and that's probably the best way to help a breast feeding
baby from biting.
