Hello, hello, hello - today I'm wearing pink!
YES!
I kinda blend into the walls, almost.
I don't know if you can see, but this green mark
is green acrylic paint
a few years ago, I had to paint something when I was out
and I didn't have an apron and
got it on my shirt and I've never been able to get it out.
So yeah, out of curiosity, that's what it is.
This is my ginormous easel.
It looks a bit like bondage equipment, but it's not!
Whilst I've been sitting here vlogging, I've been nervous
that this is gonna fall on top of me, but I seem to be okay.
Erm.
I actually broke an easel a few years ago, by knocking it over.
*****
Woah, no I moved... *BANGS*... *screams in fear.*
I've tried vlogging some deep stuff today and it didn't work out
so I thought to myself: right come on Rebecca,
Let's do a light hearted video, an ASK video.
When I said to my Dad earlier, that I was gonna do this
he thought I said *** video, not ASK video.
So that was
potentially embarrassing and hilarious.
Okay, off we go.
Q: Do you know when the Trichotillomania documentary is coming out?!
A: YES! It came out on friday, finally!
It's so exciting!
You can now buy it digitally (can't say that word)
on iTunes and I'll put the link in the video description.
Erm.
Honestly, we're all so excited!
Q: If you could instantly have another talent, what would it be?
A: I would sing
I have rhythm, *ba boom choom*.
And I can sing in tune, but I don't have that vibrato that singers seem to have.
But yeah, I'd want to sing, because
I want to be eligable to be a Disney Princess.
Erm.
All the Princesses sing,
no they don't, Merida doesn't sing.
I take that back.
Q: Do you enjoy video games?
A: Yes and no.
I loved The Sims growing up,
But in terms of games that are on the market right now, I don't play them.
BUT, in January/February time - I became obsessed with Emma Blackery's Papers Please.
I was quite addicted.
Erm, it made me really happy watching her play.
I think it's a combination of Emma's humour and the game itself.
It was great!
Q: Have you ever sold any of your artwork?
A: Yes.
I do plan to setup a merchandise/art store in the next few months...
Fingers crossed.
My plans are in motion!
I'm not very good at letting the original canvases go, I like to keep them.
Erm, but one thing that has crossed my mind, is selling prints/posters.
These are just two of the stuff that I've done.
If you didn't know I had an art channel, it's youtube.com/beckiejbrownart
If you click the box, you can go to my channel!
Go and have a look, I'm so so so happy!
Q: Do you plan on travelling any time soon?
I have literally just been asked to take part in this years VIDCON...
So right now, I know I'm going to VIDCON, but I
have no idea how I'm going to get there
I've got so much funding/planning to do
before I get there,
in one way shape or form, I will be in America later on this year.
I am nervous, but excited for VIDCON, I've never been before!
Q: Have you ever watched "Pretty Little Liars"?
A: I haven't but I had a few friends that were obsessed with it, years ago.
I still don't know who A is.
AAeyyyy
EH?!
Off topic, but I did go through a phase of being obsessed with the Vampire Diaries...
So if it's anything like that then....
I guess it would be okay!
Q: The best/worst parts about going to film school?
The worst thing was the sexism and lack of girls on my course.
It was very male orientated/dominated.
I spent the first five months of my course with only one other girl in my class.
And with ten other men in the room, it was a bit infuriating.
But I guess one of the great things about film school was:
the end results, when things concluded and you got to see
the results of everything you were working towards!
So when we finished our graduation films, that was a really big moment for me (IT MEANT IT WAS OVER!)
Loads of you guys have asked me why I've changed my name from "Beckie0"
to "BeckieJBrown"
Long story, but "BeckieJBrown" is here to stay.
And you can now find me by going to youtube.com/beckiejbrown
Someones asked: I know you've watched the modern house of cards,
But will you watch the BBC's original version?
And the answer is, I already have!
I actually watched the 1990's version with Ian Richardson, (I think).
BEFORE, I watched the modern House of Cards.
They're completely different from each other.
And going back to the modern HOC's, yes I have seen series 4!
The next question is: Do you prefer the sunset or the stars?
That is a really really difficult question to answer.
When I live in the countryside, like right now
when I look out my window, I can see the stars.
And they are beautiful/stunning/gorgeous!
But when I lived in london, due to all the light pollution, I couldn't see the stars...
And although I live in the countryside, there are loads of houses around mine,
which means I don't get to see the sunsets/sunrises...
So right now, I guess I'm dependent on the star.
Also, I think it's lovely how, it doesn't matter how dark your life is...
or how bad things are...
if you're in darkness, look up and you should be able to see the stars...
and they can sort of guide you home, type thing.
Erm.
Unless you live in London, and then you've got no hope, you're lost.
I love the fact I kind of ended on a sad note just then
I was trying to be motivational.
So yeah, that brings me to the end of this video.
I didn't answer as many questions as I'd hoped I would.
I'm so sorry I didn't answer more.
For future videos, if you do want to ask me a question, then comment below
or you can tag your question on social media with this:
and I'll be able to find it!
You can tell this video was very spontaneous and that I am happy (minus Amber of course).
Okay, I'm gonna go, I'll see you soon everyone. x
