Hello everyone. Today I am going to show you how to enter strategy into Compliance Assist.
First, begin on the MCC homepage.
Next, go to the A-Z index.
Click on P for Planning Office.
On the right, you will see a button for Compliance Assist. Click on that.
Now enter your MCC username and password.
On the left, you will see a button called Planning. Click on that.
On this page, there are many resources for you to navigate Compliance Assist.
And to help you develop your strategies. Click on More.
You can find the strategies worksheet is here.
And the Compliance Assist manual is here.
Now we are going to develop our strategy.
We are going to move to My Dashboard, which is at the top.
Click on 2012-2016 Strategic Plan.
We are going to find our specific department or program.
If you can't find your department or program on the left,
use the + sign to help you find it.
Now I am going to click on New Item and then Strategy.
This is a replication of the Strategies Worksheet that you have been working from.
Saved form.
I have kept my Strategies Worksheet saved on my computer.
I am going to use my form to help me complete this worksheet.
I am taking my strategy title from my saved worksheet.
Entering it here. Now I need to determine my dates.
I will begin my strategy on 9/1/2013.
If I had a strategy that was for multiple years,
I would click onto Academic Year Dates and select the years that made sense for this particular strategy.
Click here.
My strategy is only for one year so I am going to click on 2014.
I have begun this strategy.
I am going to select On Schedule for progress.
Here are the other options that you could select.
The next thing I need to do is to manage my role. I am going to click on Manage
Click on My Role because I will be the one responsible for this strategy
Find my role in the available roles.
Then select it. The next thing I need to do is to add my role to the
Strategies Worksheet.
I am going to click Selected and Add Role.
You will know that it worked if it shows up in your Strategies Worksheet.
The next thing I need to do is to add a Strategy Statement.
Which is saved on my Strategies Worksheet.
I have added my statement.
The next thing I need to do is add a Performance Measure. Click Edit.
Click Update.
My specific measure is a Qualiative Measure.
I have timelines set for when I will complete my finish my process.
These next few areas are comments as I want to update my strategy.
When I began to review and assess it, I can click here to add it in for the Edit information.
Finally, when I want to evaluate the strategy.
Or update the progress, click Edit
Add it here.
Now I am going to click Save.
Now I want to add my strategy to a strategic plan goal.
I am going to click Related. Click Add.
Go to MCC (Monroe Community College) to find the goals.
I am going to going to click on the goal that makes sense for my strategy that it is connected to.
Click Add.
Now my strategy is connected to the strategic plan.
I am going to go in and double check. Here is my title.
There are my dates. It is On Schedule.
I have a role. And a Strategy Statement.
There is my Performance Measure and I am connected to the strategic plan
I am going to close.
Log out.
