When animating in 3ds max using the standard morpher modifier, you might find yourself constantly browsing through the interface, going through the modifier stack for instance.
But if you want to animate multiple characters you would need to select the character individually
and then display its stack then select the other character only to do the same process again with the other characters .
Morph-O-Matic's display floater can help you with that.
In this case I will open a floating window, one for each character, this way you don't need to select one character's head to access all of its keyframes and morph channels.
You can focus on bringing their emotion and acting to life, without having to browse through the interface of 3ds max.
If you want to manage keyframes you can of course, at any time, select one of the objects and manually do so.
But you can also use all of the cool tools available directly in Morph-O-Matic.
You can; create keys, cut, copy, and paste or create zero keyframes, you can also adjust the interpolation of the keyframe you have created.
You can choose to work on selected channels to only see the channels and keyframes you need to see on the timeline.
This will help you easily focus on the eyes or any groups you have previously created.
This allows you to quickly have access to what you really need to control; the facial performance of your characters.
There is no need to script anything or write any custom code, the display floater is an integral part of Morph-O-Matic
that will save a lot of time to anyone working on several characters at a time.
Of course, this is in addition to all the outstanding tools that make Morph-O-Matic
the first choice for animators in leading studios worldwide.
We thank you for watching this quick presentation on the functionality of the display floater in Morph-O-Matic.
