It’s easy to resize one image
but what if you have a folder with 100 images or more and you want to resize all of them?
The following steps will show you how to do that in just
a few steps as opposed to resizing each image one by one.
In order to resize multiple images at once, first click on the File menu
then, scroll down to Scripts,
and select Image Processor.
Under Select the images to process, click on the Select Folder button.
In the Choose Folder dialog box,
locate and select the Resizing Multiple Images folder
and then click on the OK button
Under Select location to save processed images,
select the Save in Same Location radial button to save the files within the same folder.
Under File Type, keep the Save as JPEG, Save as PSD, and Save as TIFF check boxes on
in order to create three file formats of each image.
When finished, click on the Run button.
To see what happened, lets go back to the File menu,
then select Open.
Double click on Resize Multiple Images folder
What you'll see inside, are three new folders titled JPEG, PSD, and TIFF.
If you double click on JPEG you’ll see the new versions of the original files.
Let's go back up one level,
and double click on the PSD folder to see what happened.
You'll see the same files, resaved as PSD files.
Let's go back one level again and check out the TIFF folder.
Again, you'll see the same files but saved in the TIFF format
If you're all finished, go ahead and click on the Cancel button to return to Photoshop.
