Hi all! Today I'll show you how to make a ribbon design with the one stroke technique.
I hope that you will appreciate the design. You can find this video on my Cutenail App.
First, I have applied a light pink base.
And I'm using two colors of jo sonja's acrylic paint : White and fushia.
I need a square brush or a beveled brush to make the one stroke.
You choose your brush depending the shape that you want to paint.
I wet my brush before using acrylic paint, as always.
Then I shade off on my palette, dipping each side of the brush in each color.
I shade off the colors to have them merge together.
Then I make several bridges. You choose the size of your bridges and the space between them.
I draw a bridge upside down and then I turn my brush in the other way.
to make another bridge. Obviously, the small bridges need to be next to each other.
If the first layer doesn’t look too great, don't worry because with the second layer we'll be able to correct it.
Then with a detail brush and the white paint I used for the edge of my small bridges.
I fix the outline of the arcs, accentuating the wave.
I’m sorry for the bad framing. I’m not yet used to my new camera.
Sorry for the framing, I'm not too used to my new camera so you can't see what I'm doing right now so well.
Then I use a doting tool.
I mix the two colors to obtain light pink.
And I add some little dots inside the arcs.
Then with a liner or a detail brush
I draw several lines making something like a criss-cross shape.
And at some of intersection of this criss-cross, I'll add few small dots with the dotting tool.
Keep it very discreet. I have just added that design not to leave too much empty space on my nails.
Then I'll put my top coat and lay two rhinestones of the same color as the ribbons.
That’s it. The nail art is almost done. All you have to do is to apply the final top coat with the Seche Vite.
That’s all! I hope you enjoyed this video! Don't forget to hit Like if you enjoyed this tutorial and hope to see you soon.
