Hello everybody my name is Bradley and today I'm going to show you how to spawn vehicles
in a game called DRIVE by BeamNG. So first of all you want to get a little bit away from
the spawn point. It doesn't have to be much, maybe about ten feet. Then you're going to
want to press J on your keyboard which will disable the physics. That's going to make
a lot more sense in a second. After that we want to enter the editor mode by pressing
f11. What we are going to do is select the vehicle by clicking and dragging a box across
the driver's seat area. It should say one object selected. Once we do that (it gets
pretty easy after this), we just hold shift and you drag one of the arrows... usually
the x or y axis because you don't want to do the z axis. Drag, and you can see while
still holding shift and letting go of shift and click together, that will get me a new
car. I can do it again by selecting the car once again. Maybe going to opposite way this
time, holding shift and pulling it out that way. I can press f11 and unclick J, because
J disables the physics. Now there are two more cars. If you want the vehicles to be
a different type then you have to do one more thing. Let me move out of this area. Okay
so if you want them to be a different type of vehicle... once again press J, go back
to the editor f11, and you're going to want to, let's see here. You want to go to the
Library here, it's called scene tree, you can get it by clicking on this first little
icon over here. In the scene tree, go to the library tab, go to the level tab, double click
the BeamNG tab, double click the BeamNG vehicle button. Object name call it whatever you want.
I'll call it let's say van. I want to pick my vehicle and make it a van. Default vehicle
and just press create new. It should take a second and it will load in, but for some
reason it didn't seem to load in the texture on it. That is strange. You should be able
to move it with shift click. Oh no that just spawns another one. Maybe not, just regular
click, you don't have to do shift click. I can select the vehicle again and I can move
it. Once again press f11 to get out of the editor. Press J, the cars should fall. I'm
kind of lagging a bit because I spawned a lot of vehicles. But yeah, I'm not sure why
the texture didn't spawn on that one. It should spawn, it usually always does. But yeah, that's
about it. I hope this tutorial helped. Like and Subscribe if it did help!
