Today, we're talking about two new shows that are purely for your enjoyment. One's a drama
with heart. And the other–the other is definitely not that. I'm Angie Greenup. Welcome to the
Treat Beat. On eHow Pets, we teach you things like training your dog to sit or lie down.
And we offer you tips on things like raising chickens in your backyard. It's all very practical.
And cute. It's definitely cute. But, you know, it's practical. And sometimes you just want
fun. We've already told you about your sister channel, Heavy Petting. What we haven't made
clear is that nothing you see there is based on actual events. This milk's been expired
for like a month. God, you're a terrible human being. Vic, you're gonna have to call me back,
alright? Or I'm going to drop your cat on your doorstep and I'm not gonna be responsible
for what happens. Alright, sweetheart? You're not gonna do that. You're bluffing. You're
a bluffer. Try me, punk! Ooh, so aggressive. I can see why she broke up with you. I broke
up with her! Really? Come on. I was there. Wow. In that clip, for example, Mike Weaver
is arguing with a cat. Obviously, that's not real. They're not actually mad at each other.
They're just acting. I can't find the intern anywhere. I'm gonna need you to get me 10
copies of this collated. On the good stuff, right? The 25 pound bond. Alright. On your
own time. And in that clip, Mike Weaver is asking Bunk to make some copies for him, when
in reality, Bunk would be the one asking for copies. This is just fiction. Our director
is Kona. Very happy to have him. He's been–he's sort of a legend in this town. Started out
with Woof-D, I believe it was Deadliest Catch–you remember the show about the dogs jumping for
their balls off cliffs? And way back, way back, I think he cut his teeth on My Two Dads.
Oh, and on the show they have Kona as the director. And Kona is actually just an actor.
The real director, Sparky, is never in the show. And--funny story--the day they shot
that clip, Sparky was at the groomer. He wasn't even on set! So there you have it. You can
watch Heavy Petting right now. Just click the thing. The next new show I want to highlight
today is a comedy. I'm just joking. But seriously. If you like heartwarming, emotional, powerful,
exciting drama, you wanna watch American Dog, hosted by Victoria Stilwell. American Dog
tells the incredible stories of dogs and humans affecting each others lives, from a prison
in Georgia to the slopes of Aspen and points in between. I'm Victoria Stilwell. Join me,
as I travel the U.S. and discover stories of dogs and humans impacting each others lives
for the better. This is American Dog. How are you gonna feel when he goes? Upset. I'm
gonna cry. I just thinkin' about it now. It's kinda, kinda gettin' me there. But–because
I know it's gonna be one day soon, so… I feel like I've done something amazing I've
never done. I mean, just to know that I've done something successful like that and got
the dog from where it came from--a bus stop--left in a bus stop in a crate, to learning all
this stuff. I mean, it's just–it makes me feel really, really good, like I've really
done something. It just makes you feel good. Watch American Dog soon, exclusively on eHow
Pets. That's all of our time for today. Leave me a comment below, so I can read it on an
upcoming episode. And you'll be internet famous. Or, at least, internet noteworthy. Okay, you'll
probably be no more well known than you are now, but at least you won't be less known.
Thanks for watching. I'm Angie Greenup and this is the Treat Beat. Have a good week.
