I took the movie of station and trains at Kameyama station.
Kameyama station building has orange tiled roof and lighting window.
There is a large parking space for bus and taxi on the station plaza. The gateway of Nobono Shrine standing near the plaza was moved in 1986.
There are many booths for festival in Kameyama on the following day.
1 to 4 trains for Nagoya and 1 to 2 trains for Kamo come an hour on the Kansai main line. 1 to 2 trains come an hour on the Kisei main line.
2 Grecian posts erect in the station building. This western-style station building is a contrast to gateway of shrine and old Japanese-style city.
The railway network map painted with 2 corporate color (orange : JR Central / blue : JR West) shows that here is boundary station.
Kameyama station has 3 platforms with 5 tracks and many sidetracks, which shows one-time bustle.
The left rail is Kansai main line for Nagoya, and the right rail is Kisei main line for Tsu and Matsusaka.
As just described, two main lines merge at Kameyama station. But only local trains come to this station because these lines are not major pathway between Nagoya and Osaka or between Nagoya and Ise.
