On this trip I'm on the north eastern part of Gran Canaria.
From Telde I will ride via San Mateo and Teror back to the freeway.
The beautiful winding road that links Telde with San Mateo runs through several small
villages like Las Vegas.
The agricultural senter of this green valley is Vega de San Mateo, 800meters above sea
level. The traditional farmers market is held here
every week-end. San Mateo is named after Saint Mattheus, the aposthel.
Teror has been called the quintessential Canary Islands location, because of reasons including
architecture and culinary delights. Teror is also the most important pilgrimage destination
of the Canary Island.
From Teror I enjoyed a relaxing ride back to the freeway. This tour is a pleasant experience,
great surroundings and excellent road conditions.
