Facilitator: Hello sir. Emmanuel: Hello.
F: What is your name and age?
E: My name is Emmanuel Mopendo Mwisombi and I'm 17 years old.
F: What school do you go to?
E: I go to Mokengeli Institute in Lemba.
F: So you're here at the CLI Leadership Institute.
What does leadership mean to you?
E: Leadership is the ability of someone
to influence others towards a common goal.
F: How do you plan to be
a leader in your community?
E: I envision being a community leader first
by influencing the members of my family and my neighborhood. After that,
I will expand my influence.
F: CLI is a free program made possible by many people's hard work.
Who would you like to thank for your experience here?
E: I want to thank you all for giving me the chance to participate in this program.
All of the facilitators of CLI.
I want to thank you all for giving me the chance
to participate in this program.
Most importantly, I want to say that this has been useful for me.
Specifically, this training will allow me to to operate with wisdom
in all areas of my life.
So I am grateful for CLI
for believing in us young people
and our ability to develop our country.
F: What would you suggest
to CLI's leadership as they continue their work?
E: I would say to CLI's administrators:
you should expand CLI into other provinces.
The DRC isn't only Kinshasa.
We have other provinces beyond the capital,
which is actually part of the smallest province in our country.
So, by expanding into other provinces,
CLI can influence everyone and we will be able to develop our nation.
