Hi I am Carolyne Heldman for Zinnergy Yoga Studio in Denver, Colorado on behalf of Expert
Village. Another common area for injury in yoga especially for beginners is wrists. One
of the classic yoga poses especially in a flow or power class is downward-facing dog.
One key when you are in the pose is to pay attention to the area of where your fingers
meet your palms, really root down through there, maybe even claw down with your fingertips
and you take a lot of the pressure where your wrist is touching the floor. It relieves some
of the pressure and keeps your wrists safe.
