Hello, I'm Charlie Reed, Chancellor of the California State University system.
Hundreds of Japanese-American students were subject to an executive order by our federal government.
They were enrolled at CSU campuses, including Fresno, San Francisco, San Diego, San Jose, and possibly other campuses.
We want to contribute to repair such a grave wrong and honor These students by awarding them an honorary degree.
Eligible students are those who were enrolled in a CSU campus in 1941 and 1942 and were eligible to complete their degrees,
but, because of their forced relocation to internment camps, were not able to do so.
If you believe that you or a member of your family deserves this honorary degree,
please contact the California State University.
Give us your name and the campus where you were enrolled. The degrees will also be awarded posthumously.
