Each of us plays our own party in making it a safe
and caring campus.
We come from many different backgrounds
to make up one camp, one institution, one community.
But, who are we?
I'm a poet.

I am a seawolf. I am a seawolf. Yo soy un seawolf.
We are all seawolves.
We are part of a diverse community.
We have a responsibility to respect and celebrate our differences,
to be open and not encroach on the rights of others.
But it's more than just respecting each
other.
We also have an obligation to stand up for the dignity
of every member of our community.
We must care for each other
and accept responsibility for the welfare of our community.
Show your commitment to others by embracing the principles of civility,
accountability and respect.
Let's make a promise
to respect and care for each other by taking the community pledge.
Declare your commitment to me. And me.
To all of us. So take the pledge. Take the pledge.
Take the pledge. Take the pledge.
Take the community pledge.
